Kri oil-to-milk cleansing oil works beautifully. It removes any makeup easily and leaves the skin feeling clean but not tight. It does smell a little strange but this doesn’t bother me. Best removed with a damp, fine cleansing cloth. I also bought Kri Prickly Pear Seed Oil, which I apply after washing with the cleansing oil by mixing it with my usual serum. Another great product.
Simply the best cleanser I've ever tried and I'm loving the zero waste refill option. Doesn't dry out the skin, doesn't irritate, doesn't cause breakouts.
First impression was very good but I will update the review if my opinion changes. So far only tried it once on bare skin and in temperate weather!
I was worried it will tint my skin - I have cool undertone and this one only comes in warm one so it wouldn't suit me - but it did not alter the colour of my skin at all. Or at least, I didn't see the difference.
I normally hate wearing sunscreen because they are heavy, greasy, sticky and icky. But this one was really lightweight and didn't clog the pores or caused irritation.
I will try it layered on top of the moisturiser next time as well as on a hotter day and update the review if that becomes too rich or it rolls off, etc but so far I'm really liking it.
My face is too sensitive for it so I have used it on my cuticles and other parts of the body where I had patches of rough skin - and it worked really well. I am considering mixing it with a moisturiser or a body lotion to dilute the concentration and try it that way as well. Overall I do not fault the product, I was well aware of my skin issues at the time of purchase. It is effective and does what supposed to.
Finally a properly formulated face cream and zero waste option on top of that! I have been so tired of all these high oleic creams that I have stopped using them altogether and was relying on my own mixture of prickly pear and strawberry seed oil. Was excited to stumble across Kri.
This moisturiser is great. There’s a balance of hydrating and moisturising ingredients, lightweight texture, only skin right ingredients with no shea / coconut / cocoa nonsense. The scent is a bit sebumey which I don’t like but overall it’s a high quality product and it did not cause me any blocked pores or exacerbated shininess (acne prone, dehydrated skin that gets greasy really fast).
I find that I need something with antioxidants so perhaps won’t be an ideal option for me however if you have dry skin do not hesitate to purchase. I recommend the jar version not only because it’s better for the environment but also easier to dose as you really need a minuscule amount.
I have hypersensitive acne prone skin. I can’t use ANYTHING foaming as well as fragranced so it has been a challenge to find something suitable. Most oil based cleansers are not emulsifying which I find a hassle, and there’s perfume / essential oils in nearly everything these days. Did you know it’s actually bad for the skin?
I have been using Korean oil to milk cleanser which worked well however I hated the plastic packaging so I have been looking for a glass bottle alternative for quite a long time.
Really pleased to have found Kri. This oil is even better than the Korean one, for so many reasons. It has pleasant texture, rinses off really well and doesn’t sting the eyes. Smell is truly neutral, doesn’t smell like cooking oil for example. My skin feels soft and nourished.
I go through the bottle pretty quickly but at the end of the day this is worth the price for me. The plastic free refill option is a must have and the ingredients seem to be well researched which is refreshing to see considering most small businesses mix up all sorts of unscientific nonsense and call it a day.
We had previously bought the T2/fair older formulation in jars which I found always separated a bit. This is thinner and easier to spread, the pump is more convenient to use than fingers in a jar and it doesn't separate anymore. I find the colour in comparison to the jar is very slighly less yellow toned which fits my skin tone better. This is the best sunscreen I have tried, its just like a mid coverage foundation and looks so natural. Highly recommend.
...Why? Because when I moved house my once normal skin kicked off, after trying everything, saw Kri on FB & sent a question for help. Not only answered but SO helpful... I've NEVER looked back. Kri products are the ONLY skincare I need and use. Beautiful, natural, ethical, cruelty free, 'they work' along with the most excellent customer service! The tinted suncream is very light and leaves nice glow. The untinted cream is pasty and highlights all my lines..lol..but I must persist so I dont get more lines. No irritation at all. Yaay
It took a long time to find this type of Vitamin C as it's supposed to be one of the most effective and having bacuchiol was an added bonus as I wanted to try a natural retinol alternative . It also fitted my brief of having very few ingredients and being naturally derived. It goes on easily and should last a long time as a little goes a long way. Like another reviewer mentioned, I don't like the smell on application but it does soon wear off. As for it's effect on my skin it's too early to say.
I have been using this product now for 3 weeks and so far I have noticed a very slight improvement and hope it will get better as the time progresses as I intend to use it for a bit longer.
I ordered Kri for at least 4 times already, and I am always satisfied with all their products. What I use daily are the endless moisturiser the niacinamide oil and the rosehip oil. I also ordered the moisturiser (like it when I don’t have the time to put cream) and I also have the mineral sunscreen. I just love them all.
I ordered the tinted version but it left a white cast I don't know if that was because the wrong sunscreen was sent to me, also the smell of the sunscreen is really bad won't he buying again.
We're so sorry the sunscreen was not suitable for you. Our products are unfragranced so the natural scent of ingredients is unmasked, but it does dissipate quickly after application.
Item is not sold in small size anymore too much wasted
Hi Kristina - our 50ml moisturisers have a six month use by date after opening, which is plenty of time if used as intended.
Kri products are lovely and environmentally friendly packaged. Arrived quickly. Endless moisturiser really nourishing and vitamin c with broccoli brightens skin
I have been using it for just over three weeks. It is a very good combination of ingredients. The serum is hydrating and calming. My skin is oily, so I did not feel it got absorbed quickly. However, this issue was managed by using it after Illume Niacinamide serum, although it still leaves some oily residue. So, only apply few drops. All in all, I think it is worth using and adding to your skincare routine depending on your needs.
